Basil Pesto

  • 2 cups packed basil
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1 large clove of garlic (or two medium)
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (plus extra if necessary for consistency)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups loosely packed basil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 pine nuts (or walnuts)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Blend everything except cheese in food processor
  • Stir in cheese
